Nissan Leaf goes Video mad

Nissan’s all-electric Leaf has already won plaudits from experts and critics, and has been named as the European Car of the year.
Despite the fact that it makes much more sense than many of its rivals, being a proper 5 seat family car with a 109 mile range, Nissan have their work cut out persuading the general public to shell out hard earned cash on what many still see as early stage technology.
To this end, Nissan have produced a veritable shedload of videos aimed at dispelling what they call the ‘myths’ about electric cars. What’s more they are also running a competition to win a VIP trip to the AMGEN Tour of California cycle race in, er, California. And they are also laying on an ‘innovation station‘ event at the O2.

The Evolution of the Nissan Skyline

It’s all been kicking off over at influx, our online car magazine, where a post on the Nissan Skyline’s evolution over the last 52 years.
After someone posted that, in his opinion, the Skyline’s raison d’etre was to:
“flatter the below the belt aspirations of all those who might be challenged in that region”
the car’s fans have been out in force defending the honour of the car which probably comes closer than any other to being the people’s supercar. The R34 Nissan Skyline GT-R is an awesome car. And if you’ve maxed it out with a ton of performance modifications, taking it up to 420bhp in the process, it can probably knock spots off of most supercars you could mention on any track.
Sadly, though for one Jap Import fan, the joys of owning this fearsome beast of a car have come to a premature and unhappy end.
As the clearly disgruntled seller discovered, if you’re in a relationship, your dreams may be cruelly dashed:
Reason for Selling: Purchased without proper consent from the wife. Apparently “do whatever the F**K you want” does not mean what I thought.
So there you are. If you want to purchase the car and give it a good home you can get the full specs and buy it here. Just make sure you check with the missus first.
