Claims and Legal Assistance Information
If you have an accident and need to make a claim on your insurance where you were not at fault or only partly to blame, we will appoint Angel Assistance to assess the claim and allocate a claims handler who will contact you to discuss how they may be able to help.
Angel Assistance may be able to help you in the following ways:
- If you have been involved in an accident in the UK or Europe, in which you were not to blame or only partly to blame, Angel could provide you with legal assistance and expenses of up to £50,000 to help you recover any uninsured losses or "out of pocket" expenses as a result of the accident.
- Angel could also help you and any passengers claim compensation for injury.
- If the accident was not your fault Angel could arrange for you to be provided with a like-for-like vehicle (if needed) to help you stay mobile while your vehicle is being repaired or until you receive a settlement offer from your insurers if your vehicle is written off. Angel could also organise, fund and guarantee your repairs and save you having to pay a policy excess. This service would be provided by Helphire, a sister company to Angel, so you may see their name on documentation you receive throughout the course of your claim. Helphire may also need to contact you to discuss full details of the accident.
Solicitors
- Temple Street Solicitors
In certain circumstances Angel may appoint Temple Street Solicitors to represent you in negotiating a settlement for your claims for uninsured losses. If court proceedings are deemed unavoidable, Angel and Temple Street Solicitors would pursue your claim through the courts, covering costs (in accordance with your policy) thereby taking any financial outlay, risk and worry away from you. - Leech and Co Solicitors
If you or any of your passengers sustained injury in the accident, Angel may appoint Leech and Co to assist in your case. Leech and Co are personal injury specialists and would provide legal assistance to ensure you get the compensation you and any passengers deserve.
