A few weeks back I attended a marketing conference with my colleague David Wilson, with part of the journey to the venue discussing how I didn’t believe he had entered me into a 4×4 experience competition as part of the conference. That was of course, until my name was called out in front of perhaps 100 or so marketeers from all over the country!
The prize was a trip around the offroad track at the Heritage Motor Centre
just outside Warwick (if you’re ever in the area the collection of historic British cars is worth a look!) in… you guessed it… a 4×4! Sadly I didn’t get to drive it – I’m sure I would have managed to plant the thing 4 feet deep in the mud if I did! But it was a brilliant experience all the same!
