Please note that during the coronavirus outbreak, you should only be using your vehicle for necessary trips. Adrian Flux does not condone the use of any vehicles at this moment in time unless it counts as an essential trip.
Do you have two or more cars? If so, we can cover them using the most appropriate set of policies.
What exactly is multi-car insurance?
Essentially, multi-car insurance is when you have more than one vehicle insured with an insurance company or broker.
How does multi-car insurance work?
If you already have a car with us, just get in touch with us on 0344 381 6502 or fill in our callback form and we’ll contact you when you’re free. We can then arrange cover for your second vehicle.
Alternatively, if you don’t have a car with us, give us a call on 0800 369 8590 or fill in the callback form and we’ll help find the best deal for you.
Is multi-car insurance cheaper?
Insuring a second vehicle can save you up to 50% off each additional vehicle compared to insuring them separately as we may be able to negotiate extra discounts. This includes “mirroring” the no claims bonus you’ve got on another vehicle.
Multi-car insurance normally works out cheaper than insuring multiple cars with different companies, especially if you’re insuring more vehicles than there are drivers on the policy. This is because the insurer will know that not all cars can be driven at the same time, so they’ll work out the premium accordingly.
Can you have multi-car insurance at different addresses?
The same up-to-date correspondence address should be used no matter where you keep your cars, but we can cater to those who need to leave their cars at different addresses. Whether you leave a car at your UK-based holiday home or your kit car at a garage down the road, we can provide tailored cover to suit you.
Is multi-car insurance cheaper for young drivers?
Whilst young drivers often face high insurance premiums, making car cover expensive for just one car let alone multiple vehicles, taking out a multi-car insurance policy is usually the cheapest way of insuring multiple cars.
Please note that we won’t insure you in your parent’s name. This is called “fronting” and can lead to a claim being rejected by your insurer.
I’ve bought a second car on an online auction during the coronavirus outbreak – can I still insure it on a multi-car insurance policy?
Congratulations on the new purchase! Multi-car insurance is still available through Adrian Flux; just give us a ring to find out more.
