Comedian Ross Noble is the last guest on series five of award-winning podcast Fuelling Around with hosts Jason Plato and Dave Vitty.

Noble, who is best known for his stand-up tours and appearing on popular British television panel shows such as Have I Got News For You, QI and That Sunday Night Show, speaks to the boys from Australia where he now resides.

He reveals all about his stunning car collection, what led him to moving to Australia, his love of motorcycles, and some of the racing tracks he’s been lucky enough to drive on.

The 46-year-old burst the comedy scene, due to his unusual routines that are largely improvised and based around heckles he receives on stage, making each of his shows unique during his tours.

Elsewhere on the podcast, Noble recounts an amusing tale of buying his first car – an MG Metro – from a fellow comedian on the comedy circuit at the time. He was told not to drive it over 70mph, otherwise it would break down. Shortly after, he admitted he did just that and found out the hard way the seller was right.

He also reveals humorous stories of Bill Bailey’s old Jaguar, and how life on the road really is for comedians driving from city to city each night to perform a gig. Plus, he explained that cars and bikes aren’t his only mode of transport these days, with frequent journeys between Australia and the UK for work and to see loved ones.
