General Terms and Conditions

  1. These rules and any other rules specified by Adrian Flux or any of its group of companies (the “Company“) from time to time (“Competition Rules“) apply to any competition which is run by or on behalf of the Company (“Competition“). By taking part in a Competition, you agree to be bound by the Competition Rules and by the decisions of the Company which are final in all matters relating to the Competition. The Company reserves the right to disqualify any entrant and/or winner in its absolute discretion for any reason and without notice in accordance with the Competition rules.
  2. All entries must be received at the place specified during the period in which the Competition is open and late or incomplete entries will be disqualified. Proof of posting (if relevant) shall not be deemed proof of delivery. No responsibility can be accepted for entries which are lost, delayed, misdirected or corrupted during delivery to the place specified for any reason whatsoever.
  3. Entries must be submitted by an individual (not via any agency or similar) and, unless otherwise stated, are limited to one per household. Prizes may be provided by a third party sponsor of the Competition. The Company reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute any prize with cash or a prize of comparable value.
  4. The winning entry will be that which has met the entry criteria and which most closely meets the Competition criteria specified.
  5. Unless otherwise stated, each Competition is open to all GB residents of 18 years and over, except employees of: (a) the Company; and (b) any third party appointed by the Company to organise and/or manage the Competition; and (c) the Competition sponsor(s).
  6. By entering a Competition you:
    1. grant the Company, any third parties appointed by the Company for the purpose of organising and/or managing the Competition and the Competition sponsor(s) permission to use your name and likeness for the purpose of organising and/or managing the Competition, for announcing the winner of the Competition and for related promotional purposes; and
    2. grant the Company and any Competition sponsor(s) the right to use your personal information to send you information about their respective products and services which may be of interest to you. If you do not wish to receive this information, please follow the instructions given.
    3. accept that all entries will become the property of the Company upon receipt and will not be returned. You will retain all rights you have in the copyright and other intellectual property rights comprising the Competition entry but, by entering the Competition, you grant the Company and its licensees the right free of charge to republish your Competition entry;
    4. waive any moral rights or similar rights you have in your Competition entry whether such rights arise pursuant to the Copyright, Designs and Patent Act 1988 (the “Act”) or equivalent legislation anywhere in the world; and
    5. warrant to the Company that the Competition entry is wholly original to you and not wholly or substantially copied from any other material and that the Competition entry does not defame, cause injury to or invade the privacy of or otherwise infringe or violate any statutory, common law, regulatory or intellectual property rights of any third party.
  7. You may be offered the chance to subscribe for a free newsletter or other service of the Company but failing to do this will not disqualify you from a Competition.
  8. If you are a winner, you may have to provide additional information (including, without limitation, proof of age or identity) and/or complete additional documents and return them to the Company within a specified period. Failure to provide additional information and/or complete additional documents within the required time period, or notification returned as undeliverable as addressed will result in your disqualification as a winner and an alternative winner will be selected.
  9. The name(s) of the winner(s) and details of the winning entry or entries will be sent to anyone who requests the same within three (3) months of the closing date of the Competition. Requests should be sent to the postal or email address for competition entries and, if postal, should be accompanied by an SAE.
  10. If you are a winner of a Competition:
    1. the receipt by you of any prize is conditional upon you complying with any and all applicable laws, rules and regulations including, without limitation, the Competition Rules;
    2. you acknowledge and agree that neither the Company or any Competition sponsor(s) or any of their employees, agents or subcontractors shall have any liability to you whatsoever in connection with your use and/or possession of your prize, provided that nothing in these Competition Rules shall exclude or limit the liability of any party for personal injury or death caused by negligence or for anything else which cannot be excluded or limited by law.
  11. Unless otherwise stated, the Company is the promoter of the Competition.
  12. If any of these rules are deemed to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, the affected rules shall be deleted from these Competition Rules but the remaining rules shall continue in full force and effect.
  13. These Competition Rules and each Competition are governed by English law. Any disputes arising between the Company and any third party in relation to these Competition Rules and/or a Competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales (save that the Company shall be entitled to take action against a third party in any other jurisdiction).

Silverstone Festival 2024 Tickets

  1. One winner will win a pair of tickets to the Silverstone Festival 2024
  2. Offer is not open to Adrian Flux staff or their families.
  3. Adrian Flux reserves the right to refuse applications it considers invalid at its sole discretion.

One Year’s Club Membership

  1. The prize is a 12 month single paid membership to a motoring club within the UK and Ireland of the prize winners choosing.
  2. Only one entry per person, duplicate entries will be voided
  3. Membership must be in the name of the competition winner
  4. Membership must not exceed £50 and must be a single membership
  5. Offer is not open to Adrian Flux staff or their families.
  6. Adrian Flux reserves the right to refuse applications it considers invalid at its sole discretion.
  7. Offer is open to UK residents only.

£100 Insurance Voucher Competition

  1. The £100 voucher has no cash value and is non-refundable or transferable.
  2. It may be used once only as full or part payment towards a private car, motorcycle, commercial vehicle, motorhome or household insurance policy purchased through Adrian Flux Insurance Services or Bikesure Insurance Services. 
  3. In order to reclaim your £100, policy payment will need to be made in full and this voucher sent to Adrian Flux. Once received, the amount of the voucher will be refunded to you. 
  4. Copies of the voucher will not be accepted. 
  5. This voucher does not apply to policies purchased online
  6. We have the right to withdraw this offer at any time without prior notice. 

Silverstone Festival 2023 Competition – Caterham Drift Experience Day

  1. Drift day to be held in 2024, exact location and date to be confirmed but prize winner will be offered the opportunity to attend one of the available dates of any UK location in 2024
  2. Caterham Drift Experience Day is hosted and organised by Caterham Cars Ltd
  3. Please note that this experience is suitable for those with a valid UK driving licence for at least three years.  All participants must be able to drive a manual vehicle. Min height, 5’3, max height 6’6.
  4. Guests are welcome to attend the day, there is a £25.00 charge per guest to cover insurance and refreshments
  5. Winners will need to arrange their own travel to and from the event
  6. Entry is free

Passenger Lap at The Classic at Silverstone Competition

1. The winner must be available to be at the International Paddock 15 minutes before the specified time the pace car is due on track
2. The winner must fill out a declaration form before they will be allowed into the pace car*
3. Due to the tight racing schedule, if the winner misses their time slot the car will leave without them and the passenger lap will be forfeited 
4. Participants need to be at least 12 years of age OR 135cm tall i.e. if they are under 12 they need to be at least 135cm tall*For participants under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian should sign and in so doing, confirm that they are the lawful parent or guardian of the named participant and having read and understood the terms of this Registration form are signing it by way of approval and undertake acceptance of the above on behalf of the named participant.

Free L-plates Learner Driver offer

  1. Free L-plates are available on qualifying telephone and online quotes for learner driver insurance which are obtained via the telephone or from the adrianflux.co.uk website.
  2. Quotes obtained via comparison sites or aggregators do not qualify for free L-plates.
  3. Quotes must be obtained by the named policyholder, applications made on behalf of a third party will not qualify.
  4. The free L-plates will be sent automatically to qualifying applicants, no further action is required.
  5. Adrian Flux reserves the right to refuse applications it considers invalid at its sole discretion.

  7. Supplies of free L-plates are limited and the free L-plates offer applies while stocks last.

Adrian Flux Cash Back Terms & Conditions

  1. Retain the £50 cash back card featuring the unique reference number as you’ll need to send it to us to claim your cash back.
  2. Offer applies to new Adrian Flux customers only who obtain a policy via the bespoke cash back telephone number of 0800 916 1256 and who purchase a 12 month car, van, home, motor home, caravan, disability adapted or motorcycle insurance policy. Excludes short period policies, mobility scooter policies, club liability policies, non-road risk policies or stand alone products e.g. Breakdown, Personal Accident etc.

Adrian Flux Cash Back – How to claim

In order to claim your Cash Back, please follow these simple steps:

Home Insurance £20 Cashback

By uploading your schedule you agree to be bound by the following rules. The following rules should be read together with our Terms of Business and Privacy Policy.
Definitions

  1. Cashback – The act of refunding £20.00 GBP to a debit or credit card or via cheque in accordance with these rules. It is not in coins or notes.
  2. Credit Agreement – The means by which you are funding your policy if you are paying by Direct Debit. The agreement is with Premium Credit Limited.
  3. FluxScore – One of our telematics insurance policies marketed toward young drivers.
  4. Offer – This offer of £20.00 GBP cashback for uploading your schedule.
  5. Policy – Your current car, bike or van insurance policy with us.
  6. Portal – The online customer portal, known as one of MyAdrianFlux, MyBikesure, MyFluxDirect, MyHIC and MyTriumph used, for the purposes of this offer, to upload your schedule.
  7. Privacy Policy – This is published online at https://www.adrianflux.co.uk/corporate/privacy/ and https://www.hertsinsurance.com/privacy-policy/
  8. Rules – This entire set of terms and conditions.
  9. Schedule – The home insurance schedule which will be uploaded using the portal. It will have been sent to you by your home insurance provider as part of your policy.
  10. Smartbox – If you have a telematics policy, the Smartbox is your telematics device, fitted inside your car.
  11. Terms of Business – The most recent version of the document titled as such, which we send with new policies.
  12. We, us, our – Bikesure Insurance Services, Flux Direct and Triumph Insurance are trading names of Adrian Flux Insurance Services; authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) registration number 307071. Herts Insurance Consultants Ltd is authorised and regulated by the FCA registration number 309073.
  13. You, your, yourself – The insured person whose login has been used to access the portal.

The cashback offer
We have the right to cancel or amend all or part of this offer and the rules at any time. Any changes to the rules will be automatically updated. It is your responsibility to keep yourself informed of any changes. The rules apply to the offer promoted by email, letter, SMS, online or on our portal unless otherwise expressly stated. You can only take advantage of the offer once. Employees of Adrian Flux Insurance Services or Herts Insurance Consultants and their immediate families, persons connected with the offer and their immediate families are not eligible for the offer. In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, the conduct or results of the offer, or any other matter relating the offer, our decision shall be final and unchallengeable and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into, comment issued, or reason given in respect of any decision made by us.

How we send your £20 cashback to you
We will refund £20.00 GBP to the credit or debit card that was used to pay for your policy in full or by way of a deposit, either this year or previously, providing the card is still valid. If your policy was paid by cheque, or your credit or debit card has expired, we will send a cheque to the value of £20.00 GBP payable to you as the policyholder. There may be a delay in excess of 28 days in processing the refund. This does not include the time the refund takes to reach you once we have processed it. Once we have processed the refund, we accept no responsibility for further delays. Any further delays should be notified to your card issuer. To protect against money laundering, we cannot issue the £20.00 GBP refund to an alternative card or to someone else, or by any other means.

Your home insurance schedule
In order to qualify for the offer, the schedule must be from a current home insurance policy in your name. It can be for buildings and/or contents insurance for a property or collection thereof. Insured properties must be in the United Kingdom. The schedule must be the most recent version issued to you. The schedule must be from a policy not administered by us. The schedule must be scanned or exported in a good resolution so we can read the information from it. You must not upload a schedule for someone other than the policyholder as specified on your portal. By uploading your schedule you hereby warrant that all information contained is true and current. Your schedule must be uploaded using the portal – we cannot accept posted, faxed or emailed versions.

Using your data
We will use your schedule and the information contained therein, along with the information we already know about you, to provide you with a free no-obligation quote whenever your home insurance renewal is due. There is no requirement to make any purchase to be eligible for the offer.

We may offset, defer or withhold your £20 cashback in the following situations:

  1. If we have reasonable grounds to believe any of these rules have been breached
  2. If you no longer have an active policy
  3. If there has been a claim or loss recorded against your policy
  4. If we have sent you a seven-day Road Traffic Act cancellation letter
  5. If we have asked you to provide further information to validate your policy and this has not been provided or approved
  6. If there are outstanding issues connected with your policy, such as a non-disclosure or misrepresentation
  7. If we suspect your policy has been obtained fraudulently
  8. If we have asked you to send us documents and these have not been received and processed satisfactorily
  9. If there is money outstanding on your policy
  10. If your credit agreement cannot be successfully validated
  11. If your credit agreement is in default

Signed Mansell sculpture (April 2020) Terms and Conditions

  1. No cash alternative is available
  2. One prize is available
  3. Only entries specifying a reason into the comments connected to the original competition post on the Facebook Page (not shares) are valid
  4. Entries will be accepted until the competition closes at 23:59 on 28/04/2020
  5. The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries on 29/04/2020
  6. Prize must be claimed within 48 hours or may be given to another entrant
  7. Winners will be notified by being tagged on the comments of the original post, and directly messaged on the network where possible
  8. The winner’s account must not block the Adrian Flux accounts
  9. Winner of sculpture must be UK resident
  10. Delivery of the item may take up to 4 weeks due to the current lockdown situation
  11. Adrian Flux reserves the right to feature the name of the prize winner in future promotions

Flux Fridays

  1. Only tickets bought online via Eventbrite or from Your Local Paper will obtain entry
  2. Tickets (150) will remain on sale until they are all sold
  3. Seats on the night are allocated on a first come first served basis with ample standing room provided for the very small number who cannot be seated
  4. Event staff reserve the right to refuse admission or ask guests to leave at their discretion
  5. Abuse towards any staff, guest speaker or another member of the audience will not be tolerated and is likely to result in removal
  6. Car parking facilities are available at the Adrian Flux Arena – which cannot be held responsible for your car or belongings while you attend the event
  7. The Champs Bar has disabled access
  8. Refunds are only applicable if the event is cancelled
  9. Adrian Flux and the Maze Media Group reserve the right to use footage/images from the event for further promotional material in print/online and via social media
  10. A cash raffle will be held on the evening. Participants will discover if they have been successful at the event. Income from the raffle will be put towards further Adrian Flux marketing materials/events or to offset costs of hosting the event

TVR CC £150 Insurance Competition

  1. The “£150 Insurance” is to be used towards one motor policy through Adrian Flux Insurance for a TVR. The policy must be in the name of the winner.
  2. No cash alternative is available
  3. Insurance is subject to acceptable underwriting criteria
  4. Maximum amount allowed for the free insurance is £150 and excludes the cost of additional benefits like for example breakdown cover
  5. Adrian Flux Insurance reserve the right to feature the name of the prize winner in future promotions
  6. Competition is for UK residents only
  7. Deadline for entries is 31st March 2023 after which one winner will be drawn from all entries as the winner
