Always on the the look out for a different picture I decided that this challenge would be best set against a helicopter so I rang up the Army and asked if they would lend me a helicopter and an airfield for the day and amazingly they said &#039;Yes&#039;! This picture was taken during the final practice session for the 2005 Isle of Man TT as Martin hammered the Vitrans Honda Fireblade through the bottom of Barregarrow flat out in 4th gear. With the throttle pinned against the stop and the fairing grinding into dust against the tarmac, it looks as if the suspension has broken but Martin took the notorious bend like this on every lap. They take the knocks and pitfalls of racing in their stride and accept them as part and parcel of the job.
