This was the short, stubby Group B Homologation car, one that no copper could ever afford. This car is, to this day, stripped down, simple fun. Its success is as responsible as any car for the near ubiquity of the Front Wheel Drive form in current everyman motors.<\/p>\n<p><em>Alfasud Ti Cloverleaf<\/em><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.adrianflux.co.uk\/influx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/fs_green_sud.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16258\" title=\"fs_green_sud\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adrianflux.co.uk\/influx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/fs_green_sud.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"480\" height=\"286\" srcset=\"https:\/\/cdn-influx-wp.adrianflux.co.uk\/uploads\/2010\/09\/fs_green_sud.jpg 480w, https:\/\/cdn-influx-wp.adrianflux.co.uk\/uploads\/2010\/09\/fs_green_sud-300x178.jpg 300w, https:\/\/cdn-influx-wp.adrianflux.co.uk\/uploads\/2010\/09\/fs_green_sud-278x165.jpg 278w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We think some editions of Alfa\u2019s \u2018Sud are plain ugly: but the cloverleaf later versions with the twin carb 1500 Boxer and the bits of plastic trim scream eighties cool, and having recently driven one (thanks Scott) we are convinced.
