{"id":19932,"date":"2011-04-14T11:56:07","date_gmt":"2011-04-14T10:56:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.influx.co.uk\/wordpress\/?p=19932"},"modified":"2022-06-28T15:29:59","modified_gmt":"2022-06-28T14:29:59","slug":"closer-to-the-edge","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.adrianflux.co.uk\/influx\/blog\/closer-to-the-edge\/","title":{"rendered":"Closer to the Edge"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" id=\"\" class=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"750\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/r4NdcMELso8?rel=0&#038;showinfo=0&#038;controls=1&#038;enablejsapi=\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Whatever you think of the ethical whys and wherefores of the Isle of Man TT, hold tight until 22 April, when the the 3D documentary Closer to the Edge will hit screens all over the UK.<\/p>\n<p>It focuses on self-style maverick <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guymartinracing.co.uk\/\">Guy Martin<\/a> and his love of Road Racing &#8211; and examines the motivations, action and consequences of some of the most dangerous racing ever taken on by man and machine.<\/p>\n<p>Not having seen the film at time of writing we can&#8217;t really comment &#8211; but we&#8217;ve always been of the opinion that danger is an inherent and wholly understood aspect of motor racing of all kinds.<\/p>\n<p>As long as there are roads and machines, men and women are going to want to race them &#8211; no matter what the consequences.<\/p>\n<p>Look out for the movie.
