We suppose it was a nice idea. Take a dinged up DBS Vantage V8, strip off the body and replace it with a bulging piece of Bedford steel. Add a hi-spinning turbo to each bank of cylinders, so that the engine produces close to 900 HP.<\/p>\n<p>There you have it &#8211; an ugly-beautiful, howling monster conceived as if on Dr Frankenstein&#8217;s slab.<\/p>\n<p>The car competed in something called, apparently, the Tricentrol Super Saloon Championships in the mid seventies and is <a href=\" http:\/\/www.classicmobilia.com\/Pages\/JohnPopeSpecial.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">now for sale,<\/a> fully road legal.<\/p>\n<figure><a
