There was something so individual and unique about each of the cars that were made in Maranello in that golden age. What made these cars special is just how hand made they were &#8211; from the gorgeous engines to the hand hammered metal of their bodies.<\/p>\n<p>And in a collection of cars so perfectly individual, this 1965 Ferrari 275 GTB\/6C Alloy Berlinetta really stands out.<\/p>\n<p>When it was first unveiled the 275 GTB was considered by many to be the finest production Ferrari to date. It combined all the racing pedigree of its forebears with enough comfort and refinement to make this one of the true gentleman&#8217;s GTs. The engine was based on the race-proven &#8216;Colombo&#8217; V12, with 3,285 cc &#8211; and it could produce produce 300 bhp with the optional and desirable six Weber 40 DNC\/3 carbs. This version is one of the &#8216;alloy&#8217; variants &#8211; whose body was put together in lightweight aluminium which, combined with the six carb option, made this an even higher performance version of what was already a killer car.<\/p>\n<p>It sold a couple of years ago by RM for a little over \u00a3800K.
