330GT 2+2 Navarro"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>This strange beast, based on a stock Ferrari 330 GT2+2 was created by bespoke coach builder Piero Drogo as a one off.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Italian nightclub owner Norbert Navarro was the customer &#8211; and we can&#8217;t really tell if this particular creation is a triumph or a disaster.<\/p>\n<p>The core of the original Pininfarina designed body remains on &#8216;The Golden Car&#8217; as it is known, but the fins and extended, snoop-dog nose of this mid-sixties creation makes the car look a little unbalanced.<\/p>\n<p>It was one of a fine series of one-off specials that appeared at this year&#8217;s Monterey Car Week in California.<\/p>\n<p>Drogo, a Piedmontese racing driver who competed briefly in Formula 1 in the early sixties, didn&#8217;t make many cars &#8211; and his career was cut short in a car accident in 1973 &#8211; so we can&#8217;t judge the man&#8217;s skills by this one creation alone.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The 330 GT isn&#8217;t the prettiest Ferrari ever made &#8211; but it was probably good enough to let well alone!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t<style type=\"text\/css\">\n\t\t\t#gallery-1 {\n\t\t\t\tmargin:
