They provide professional driving services for discerning travellers, boasting a number one ranking for chauffeur companies on Trustpilot.<\/span><\/strong><span lang=\"EN\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\"><span lang=\"EN\">Originating from Kosovo, Sezar worked in bars and restaurants when he first moved to London in the 1990s before a friend suggested he became a minicab driver. \u201cI had a nice car and in those days you didn\u2019t need much in the way of licences,\u201d he says.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\"><span lang=\"EN\">As much as he enjoyed driving cabs, he soon found himself wanting to progress onto bigger and better things. He took on his first chauffeur-driving job in 1997, when he was tasked with driving a Saudi prince to Harrods and, since then, he\u2019s never looked back.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adrianflux.co.uk\/influx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/1102361_cc90223e.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adrianflux.co.uk\/influx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/1102361_cc90223e.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<p class=\"normal\"><span lang=\"EN\">Today, he drives a Mercedes-Benz S350d, which he owns himself. He\u2019s not too concerned about the current anti-diesel agenda, having just ordered a replacement S350d for delivery in March.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\"><span lang=\"EN\">\u201cIt makes no difference whether it&#8217;s diesel or petrol,\u201d said Sezar. \u201cCustomers will probably never know. Diesel cars are now so quiet and the interior is exactly the same.\u201d And as Sezar drives modern cars, he won\u2019t be hit by London\u2019s new T-Charge. \u201cThe diesel S-Class meets Euro 6 standards,\u201d he added. \u201cIt\u2019s very, very clean. I\u2019m not worried.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<figure><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adrianflux.co.uk\/influx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2016_Mercedes-Benz_S_350_d_W_222_sedan_2016-03-05_01.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adrianflux.co.uk\/influx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/2016_Mercedes-Benz_S_350_d_W_222_sedan_2016-03-05_01.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<p class=\"normal\"><span lang=\"EN\">While he enjoys his job, he says it\u2019s very different to how he expected \u2013 even compared to his previous job driving a minicab. \u201cMinicabbing is normally driving from A to B\u2026 but chauffeuring is completely different. You spend more time waiting than you do driving. \u201cOn average, you probably drive for about 15 minutes and then you end up waiting for three to four hours.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\"><span lang=\"EN\">As well as being a driver, Sezar says he\u2019s almost a PA to some customers. \u201cYou\u2019re supposed to know all the best restaurants and pubs,\u201d he says. Using the sat-nav is a big no-no with some clients, who expect their driver to know London inside out. He tells a great story of a nameless VIP\u2019s daughter who had very demanding requirements. She\u2019d spend five or six hours shopping at Harrods every day, and if her chauffeur wasn\u2019t waiting outside a certain door when she\u2019d finished, she\u2019d be on the phone demanding a new driver.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure><a href=\"https:\/\/www.adrianflux.co.uk\/influx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/The_interior_of_Mercedes-Benz_S400_HYBRID_W222.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/www.adrianflux.co.uk\/influx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/12\/The_interior_of_Mercedes-Benz_S400_HYBRID_W222.jpg\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n<p class=\"normal\"><span lang=\"EN\">\u201cMost clients are fine,\u201d he says diplomatically. \u201cMany are down to earth, friendly and will give you a tip. Some will ask you to join them for food at the restaurant, while others will give you \u00a320 for lunch or a coffee and tell you how long they\u2019re going to be.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"normal\"><span lang=\"EN\">Sezar often delivers VIPs to Buckingham Palace. \u201cYou have to follow a police escort,\u201d he explains.
