And if you thought the last Autosport International was brilliant, you should see what’s lined up this year.

There will be a plethora of activities to try out as well as famous cars and drivers to see and meet at the Birmingham NEC between 11th and 14th January.

Somehow we’ve managed to narrow down our Autosport International highlights to the top five:

1. Meet Nigel Mansell
How often do you get the chance to meet a Formula 1 driver in person, let alone the chance to meet a racing icon? The 1992 World Champion will be signing autographs and will be telling stories on the main stage on the 13th and 14th January.

The 15-year F1 veteran told Autosport International: “The British  motorsport fans mean so much to me, and to be coming to my hometown Birmingham and getting the opportunity to engage with them at Autosport International 2018 I couldn’t be happier.”

2. Forza Ferrari
Without a doubt one of the main attractions will be Ferrari showpiece where they will be showing a range of classic cars created by the Italian motoring giants, both new and old.

Among them will be the latest Ferrari 488 Challenge, the Ferrari FXX-K Evo which will be show for the first time outside of Italy and the 2017 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) Ferrari 488 GTE.

3. World Rally Championship launch
The 2018 Rally World Championship will be the first FIA World Championship to launch in Autosport International’s 27-year history. All the teams and drivers will be present and will be answering questions about the upcoming season which starts in Monte Carlo on January 25.

4. F1 Racing Grid
Last year Autosport International pulled a coup when cars from Formula 1, Formula E, BTCC and Le Mans were all on the same display.

This year, fans will clamour again to see these incredibly beautiful, fast and downright expensive race cars. Jacques Villeneuve and Indycar Legend Dario Franchitti were the special guests in 2017, so make sure you have your camera ready because there will be more famous faces in the crowd.

5. BTCC 60th anniversary
The Dunlop MSA BTCC Display is always among the favourites at the two-day show, and with 2018 marking the 60th anniversary of the BTCC there will be famous faces from the competition’s history. The latest livery launches and driver/team announcements will also be unveiled to those attending. Also feel free to visit the Adrian Flux stand, where BTCC champion Ash Sutton’s car will be on display.
