The inspirational tale of how Team BRIT drivers became professional racing stars

Team BRIT drivers Aaron Morgan and Bobby Trundley are men on a mission to fulfil their motorsport ambitions and paving the way for drivers with disabilities to compete in the UK’s biggest motoring events, including the British GT Championship.

They are two of the drivers racing for Team BRIT this year who are aiming to be the first ever team of disabled drivers to compete in the Le Mans 24 hour series in their stunning McLaren 570S GT4.

But before that, they competed in the Silverstone 500, where they claimed third place. Our film follows the duo as they open up about how they overcome personal challenges to become the racers they are today.

Who is Team BRIT?

Having launched with just one car and two drivers in 2015, this year Team BRIT will enter four cars across three championships, providing opportunities for eight disabled racing drivers, including in the prestigious British GT Championship. The McLaren was unveiled to sponsors and supporters at an exclusive event held in London on Wednesday 27th October 2021.

The McLaren has been fitted with the team’s cutting-edge racing hand controls to enable paraplegic driver Aaron Morgan to compete on equal terms with able-bodied competitors. Morgan will team up with the world’s fastest autistic racing driver, 22-year-old Bobby Trundley.
