It’s been a while since we shared some onboard, POV goodness with you. But stumbling across this lovely, brutally exciting footage from on the shoulder of a lucky pilot of a McLaren F1 GTR, we thought we’d break our recent duck.
You can really get a sense of the snarling brilliance of the original race going version of the road going race car (if that makes sense) that McLaren graced the annuls of car culture with back in the day.
The audacity with which the driver makes mincemeat of the numerous 911s and M3s makes you realise just HOW FAR beyond the realms of the ordinary this car was.
Makes the newer iterations of road-specced McLarens look a little, well, civilised.
