The paternal, taciturn figure Enzo Ferrari cut is in stark contrast to the legion of self-promoting entrepreneurs and businessmen of our times – who never miss an opportunity to spread the gospel – according to their views on how the world ticks.
He may have been a machiavellian man manager – but that’s all the more appropriate when you’re head of a dynasty like Ferrari.
Enzo was, of course, a true Prince.
