"It's been a frustrating morning for a motor twitcher like myself. Aston Martin V12 Zagato. My iPhone battery was flat. So, of course, we had to share some stock pics of one of our favourite cars from who is certainly "
Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato
Aston's DB4 GTZ tops the Zagato love list
Zagato’s styling aesthetic is a little bit marmite.
But with Aston Martin, we think the Italian design house reached its true heights. And within a noble list of Aston Martin cars to bear the Z logo – we think the DB4 GTZ is the prettiest and most profoundly special of the cars they produced.
Unveiled in October 1960 at the London Motor Show, the car was a lightened, more sculpted version of the DB4 GT – with stripped down interior, aluminium panels and that curved, low-slung aspect.
Perspex windows and a lightweight aluminium engine block were the finishing touches.
Needless to say, the original 20 of these cars go for millions.
Perchance to dream.
