Fuelling Around is back with another huge celebrity guest kickstarting the award-winning motoring podcast’s third series.

Bradley Walsh, the host of ITV hit quiz show The Chase, joins co-hosts Jason Plato and Dave Vitty to discuss his love of four wheels and his stellar and versatile career in the entertainment industry.

The TV favourite discussed his impressive work ethic while revealing more about the incredible lockdown project that saw him turn an Aston Martin DB9 into his own modern version of a James Bond inspired DB5.

The Chase host and James Bond megafan talks 007

After talking about the Vantage GT and discussing Bradley’s first car and motoring back catalogue, the trio chewed the fat about their favourite 007 and who might be next.

Dave chose Roger Moore and Jason selected Sean Connery, but it was a different Bond who topped the host, actor, comedian, singer and former professional footballer’s pile.

“I’m a 60s child so Sean Connery was brilliant, he was fantastic,” said the 61-year-old.

“But I’ve got to say you’ve got to go a long way to beat Daniel Craig. Not only has he got the look, he’s got the style, he’s got the panache, he’s rough around the edges. You’ve got to go some to beat him.

“Idris Elba was brilliant in Luther. That character is pretty close to where you need to be. Idris is handsome, he’s everything you need a James Bond to be. He’s sexy, he’s brilliant and I couldn’t agree with (Jason and Dave) you more.”

A special quiz completed another cracking and humorous offering with seven more big names lined up to appear on Fuelling Around in the coming weeks.
