Every so often we come across another custom bike builder that we have to share. This time, it is Venier Customs and this absolutely delectable re-imagining of a Moto Guzzi V35 that has us reaching for the reblog button.
Based in the high northern Italian province of Friuli-Venezia Giulia but with an obvious eye to the US as a customer base, Venier bring out the best in the original basics of the machines they customise.
As they mention on the site, so many of these amazing machines have beautiful engines and frames clothed in a shockingly plasticky outer skin. These outward facing bits and pieces were often the most economically and design compromised elements of the bikes’ design – especially 80s era, fairing-obsessed mass produced machines.
It has to be said that the original V35 Guzzi suffered mostly from a lack of beauty in the details rathwer than over-design. The tank, wheels, seat, exhaust and bars showed little love.
Take a look at Venier’s revamped version and you can see that with the lightest touch you can create a classic that is truly a classic.
