Coronavirus may have affected most of the racing calendar this year, but one race that was able to go ahead was the iconic Le Mans 24h.
Despite the shortened version of this years race, with drivers and teams having to adjust to a shorter period, there was still plenty of action and excitement.
Alex Brundle takes you behind the scenes of the iconic race from practice to qualifying and reflects on how his team suffered an oil leak which left them in the pits for 45 minutes, causing them to slide down the table.
Alex, the son of former Formula 1 racer Martin Brundle, finished in 17th place and reflecting on the oil leak stated:
“The oil leak issue cost us 45 minutes sitting in the pits, which put us out of the race completely.
“There are loads of positives to take away from the race, but of course I’d rather be taking a trophy because that’s what we deserved as a team really.”
