Meet former speedway world champion Jason Doyle

Tickets for this event are just £10 and are available through Eventbrite.

Former speedway world champion Jason Doyle will be the star guest at a live motorsport evening in King’s Lynn in March.

The speedway icon will be interviewed in front of a live audience at the Adrian Flux Arena on Friday March 15. The public will then be invited to ask Doyle any questions.

Doyle, who was world champion in 2017, will be talking ahead of the new speedway season which starts in April.

Over a decade in professional speedway…

The 33-year-old is aiming to reclaim the world championship he won two years ago, after finishing seventh in the overall standings last season.

Doyle, who will be riding for Swindon Robins in the British top flight in 2019, has over a decade of professional speedway experience and is keen to get back to the summit of the sport in the coming season.

However, just one month before the start of the Robins’ SGB Premiership campaign, Doyle will undergo surgery to remove a metal plate in his right foot.

The 2017 world champion broke his foot in three places 19 months ago, during his world championship winning season, after crashing heavily during heat 14 of a Polish Ekstraliga match between Zielona Gora and Torun.

The Australian will be interviewed by Maze Media Group Project Manager and West Norfolk sports journalist Gavin Caney in the first-ever Flux Fridays event, where motorsport fans get to meet their heroes in a relaxed and informal setting.

Having made his British speedway debut in 2005 for Premier League team the Isle of Wight Islanders, Doyle has been competing on UK shores for close to 15 years and has become one of the most recognisable faces in the sport today.

Along with his exploits in the British scene Doyle has also enjoyed success internationally in the speedway world championships with 16 podium finishes from 69 Grands Prix.

The start of Flux Fridays…
