Value for money car insurance for convicted drivers

Many insurers will send their premiums through the roof if you’ve had a motoring conviction or two, and if you’ve had a criminal conviction recorded against you, they may not insure you at all.

Here at Adrian Flux, as experts in finding cover for all types of specialist and unusual situations, our quotes department can arrange value for money, high quality insurance cover for convicted drivers, whatever your history. Because we know your past is not necessarily a guide to the future.

What is a DD30 driving offence?

A DD30 conviction for reckless driving or dangerous driving is issued when a driver has demonstrated an unlawful act while in control of a vehicle.

What is the punishment for a DD30 conviction?

A DD30 conviction can have a huge financial bearing with fines and mandatory driving courses to attend. Being issued with a DD30 will have huge impact on your insurance premiums and will make it hard to get insured in the future at a price you can afford.

An application with the DVLA which details a DD30 offence on your driving licence will normally be refused or a current licence suspended or revoked.

A DD30 offence will remain on the DVLA licence for a period of 11 years.

An application will not normally be approved until the endorsement period has expired and it is shown that no further motoring convictions have been endorsed on it in that period.
