Your duties will involve offering our existing clients a complete customer care package. You will deal with mostly incoming telephone enquiries covering a wide range of subjects in connection with our clients' insurance. These may include discussions about outstanding paperwork or payments, processing the many changes customers may wish to make to their policies, cancellation requests, renewing policies and also dealing with any general enquiries they may have. Successful candidates will receive full training on our range of products, how best to meet our customers requirements and how to use the computer system. Successful applicants must be customer focused and able to work in a high paced, versatile and dynamic team. Previous customer service experience is not required, but a confident and friendly telephone manner and excellent communication skills are essential. Normal Working Hours

9am – 5:30pm all year round
Saturdays 9am – 1pm or 9am – 4pm

Saturdays are working on a monthly rota system where you might work every other Saturday or less.

Duties are primarily telephone based; receiving calls from prospective customers, taking all relevant information, providing accurate quotations for motor insurance and securing the sale of the policy. Customers will need to be advised of all policy details, including policy excesses and additional benefits. You will take payments to initiate cover, set-up payment plans, deal with online quotations and contact customers that have requested quotation call-backs. Successful candidates will be given full training on our products and how to use the computer system. You will be trained in insurance underwriting and will learn sales techniques to help place and secure business. No previous sales experience is required but good communication skills that could translate to a confident and friendly telephone manner are essential for this position. Saturdays are working on a monthly rota system where you might work every other Saturday or less.

Your main duties will involve processing all incoming and outgoing correspondence for our clients insurance policies. These duties include checking received correspondence is complete, chasing any outstanding documents and sending out policy certificates, along with dealing with Insurance Company paperwork and memos. You'll also process internal diaries, policy payments and occasionally deal with clients in the Visitors' Room. You will also be required to use the telephone. Predominantly, this will involve making outgoing calls. Successful candidates will receive full training on our range of products, how best to meet our customers requirements and how to use the computer system. Previous administrative experience is not required, but successful applicants must be proactive, efficient and highly self-motivated. For each full time position the minimum starting salary is £15,000 per annum. Exact wages are dependant on each applicant's qualification and experience.
