Practical Classics: Perfect reading for classic car and restoration enthusiasts
The Restorer of the Year competition is one you certainly won’t want to miss. Each magazine edition features two unique stories on how classic car owners have managed to restore beautiful classics they have found, to working order.
At the end of the year, all 26 entrants will be entered into a competition to decide 2022’s best restoration project. Better yet, magazine’s readers will get to vote on their favourite, with the winner being revealed at the NEC’s Classic Car & Restoration Show in March 2023. So be sure to buy each edition to discover these previously untold stories, because it will be down to you to vote for the winner.
A unique competition voted for by the readers
In each issue, the restoration stories will celebrate the extraordinary efforts gone to by individuals to rescue classics that would otherwise simply disappear. These restorers are all amateurs, reviving their own classics at home. Real petrolheads doing it for love.
So, whilst the classics are very much front and centre, each story will focus on the person behind the car, the restoration hero who is restoring it, detailing why they bought their car, what it means to them, as well as how they restored it and their future plans for the vehicle.
What makes this competition different is the judging panel are the readers of Practical Classics and you, the customers of Adrian Flux. So if one of the stories pulls on your heartstrings, make sure you vote for them when you can.
